Warm Mix Performing Additive

Product information

Warm mix asphalt additive design to reduce binder viscosity during asphalt production, laying and compaction steps. It allows for a reduction in temperature up to 30 ºC (54 ºF) in all these processes. During the cooling step of the asphalt pavement, it starts crystallizing, increasing the pavement rutting resistance. It can be dosed during mixing process, either directly into the pug-mill (dry process) or into the bitumen tank (wet process), with slight agitation for complete dispersion.

Recomended dosage

  • 1.5 to 3.0 % by weight of bitumen.
