Cellulose Fiber
Product information
Cellulose fiber microgranules used as stabilizing additive in bituminous mixes (HMA and WMA). It ats as a thixotropic thickener, designed for reducing the binder drainage when high bitumen content is required such as SMA, BBTM, porous asphalt and asphalt for ultra-thin layers. The fiber addition shows a better performance against the action of water, improved resistance to fatigue while preventing crack propagation (EN 12697-18 and -24). Different hybrid grades also available.
Recomended dosage
- 0.3 to 0.5 % by weight of total asphalt mix.
