About Our Animal Nutrition Laboratories
Our Animal Nutrition laboratories are located in Serbia and Brazil. Both are operating under ISO9001:2015 certification to quality control research and development. We ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products while providing technical support to customers and introducing news methods of analysis.
Animal Nutrition Laboratory Equipment
- AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) - For determining minerals (Copper, Iron, Zinc, Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium, Manganese)
- Microwave - Prepares samples for AAS
- HPLC (Liquid Chromatography) - For vitamins (A, E, D3) determination
- Spectrophotometer - For Phosphorus determination.
- NIR (Near InfraRed Spectroscopy) - For moisture, proteins, cellulose, fat, fiber, and starch analysis
- Kjeldhal Equipment - For protein determination
- Soxhlet Equipment - For fat determination

General Activities/Tests in Laboratory
Product Control
In line with our Receiving, Process, and Final Control protocols, these laboratories are created to control our products through both physical and chemical analyses.
Tests for moisture, density, flowability, and tapping in final products provide valuable information about the physical characteristics of our products. Additionally, we make sure that the carrier in premixes is of the highest quality to guarantee good homogeneity and optimal physical properties.
Precision Testing Equipment
We use high-quality equipment to enable accurate, precise, and fast results. The atomic absorption spectrophotometer and HPLC from Agilent allow for effective control of minerals and vitamins in products.
Environmental Testing
Given the high temperatures faced in recent years during July and August, we have dedicated attention to observing our products in a climate chamber designed to simulate high temperatures and humidity. This ensures stability and quality under extreme conditions.
Product Development
The development and observation of new products have been a core focus of our laboratory operations for many years.
Customer Benefits
Formulation Support
Our laboratories provide fast analysis to help customers improve their formulations and be more economical in assembling complete mixtures. Depending on customer needs, we analyze both raw materials and animal nutrition. Furthermore, we can assist with production line adjustments, indicating points for process improvements, and support in external analysis with critical analysis of results, and supporting certifications as GMP (Good Practice Manufacturing).
Raw Materials Control
Raw material control involves basic chemical analyses (Wende analyses), such as moisture, proteins, fats, fiber, starch, and ashes. Classical chemical methods such as Kjeldahl and Soxhlet are used to determine proteins and fats, while NIR analysis provides fast and accurate results.
Mycotoxin and Urease Testing
We also test cereals for mycotoxin content, particularly Aflatoxin and Deoxynivalenol. As the production of soybean meal and extruded full-fat soya is sensitive, we test urease activity to help our customers control the heat treatment process and the operation of their equipment reliably and easily.
