Amine Base Adhesion Promoter
Product information
A new anti-strip additive based on amine chemistry, designed to improve the aggregate-bitumen passive adhesion. It ensures a long-lasting bond between binder and aggregate throughout pavement's service life. Its surfactant properties modify the bitumen polarity, enhancing the chemical attraction in acid aggregates such as granite, silica, porphyry, basalt and quartzite gravel. Improves “Water sensitivity” EN 12697- 12, “Affinity of binder-aggregate” EN 12697-11, Densification ability and “Compactibility” EN 12697-10.
Recomended dosage
- 0.20 to 0.75 % by weight of bitumen.
