Natural resins made from high purity hydrocarbons, also known as "asphaltite" or "gilsonite". It is a solid bitumen coming from treated petroleum rocks highly compatible with asphalt binders. Their use improves the Stiffness and Rutting resistance to the asphalt mix. Suggested applications are airport aprons, highways, bus lanes, industrial areas, ports, toll stations, roundabouts, etc., when higher bearing capacity is requested. Available in powder and granular forms.
