With the aim of boosting its international strategy, the Food Division acquired 75% of Brazilian company Hexus Food Ltda, which focuses on food solutions mainly for the beverage and dairy sectors, in 2016 and in early 2017 bought the Mexican firm Cytecsa, a benchmark in the country in the premix and technological solutions segment for the dairy industry.
